Provision of natural antibiotics in drinking water on the performance and number of microbes in broiler cecum

This study aimed to determine the effect of natural antibiotics in drinking water on total microbial population and performance cecum broiler chickens. The material used was 96 chickens strain CP 707 from PT Charoen Pokphand Jaya. experimental design a completely randomized (CRD) consisting 4 treatments 6 replications. Statistical analysis using variance (ANOVA) Duncan's Multiple Range Test. tested were: T0: without antibiotics; T1: 5 mL per liter water; T2: 10 T3: 15 water. parameters studied were (consumption, body weight, conversion) microbes cecum. results showed that treatment had no significant (P > 0.05) but an amount bacteria present It concluded administration caused decrease so it could improve chickens, although there differences consumption, final or conversion.
